it can be distracting to the audience when there are more camera crew than them. It is also harder for the performer if the audience is watching the crew!
We know you want the best results possible. Achieving this is not just a case of placing a camera on a tripod and pointing it towards the stage from anywhere in the theatre.
Our setup includes four cameras, studio monitor and a vision mixer, It is therefore essential that adequate space is provided for this equipment and operatives.
The best location is at the back of the stalls behind the audience (not the circle).
We find that most theatres can accommodate us when informed in advance.
